This was several years ago. I totaled my Audi TT when a van plowed into me from behind doing about 60 on Woodall Rogers in Dallas during rush hour. I was at a complete stop. I plowed into the car in front of me, and it plowed into the car in front of them. Cars are not immovable by the way. And thank goodness for airbags.
