Illustration Friday - Twist

Here's the twist: this painting is called Not Inspired Again (click it to see it larger). Why is it when I'm not inspired, that inspires me?

Creativity is a funny animal. :-)

Illustration Friday - Camouflage

So I'm in the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (I'm wearing camouflage shorts) and a small, mean woman who works there tells me I'm not allowed to use a pen in the museum. When she wasn't looking I finished the drawing (which is below, of a Picasso and a Matisse on top of each other), then I went outside where I drew the top sketch, and put devil horns on her head. I felt better immediately. ;-)

How far down?

"Where would I go, if I could go,
who would I be, if I could be,
what would I say, if I had a voice,
who says this, saying it's me?"

Ciao Italia, Ciao Sopranos, Hello JFC

This drawing was done on the way back from Italy some years ago. It seemed appropriate for the day after the Sopranos final episode. I liked the final episode, loved the way it ended. And I also liked the premier of John From Cincinatti (is it just me or does anyone else think that JFC also stands for Jesus F. Christ, which was said toward the end of the episode?) :-)

Illustration Friday - Suit

Being lost just doesn't suit me any more.
Am I lost? Still working on that one.
