Special bonus points if you guess which one was used for the painting. :-)

“At sunrise everything is luminous but not clear. It is those we live with and love and should know who elude us. You can love completely without complete understanding."
~ Norman Maclean - from "A River Runs Through It"
You painted the drunken cat.
ReplyDeleteOr vice versa.
Actually, I was thinking more on which sketch rather than which object/subject :) Hmmm...if I'm right...then I'll choose sketch no. 5 :)
ReplyDeleteLove the words here....thanks for sharing it...
I will guess the 4th one was used for a painting.
ReplyDeletei hope it was number three, because i love the lights against the window in this one....but i suspect it was number 6 or 7.....they are the most abstract.
ReplyDeleteThe great thing is that no matter how much you draw and redraw them, in whatever position, it's always a WB drawing. Cool.
ReplyDeletei like the second one... are you going to tell us?
ReplyDeletei'm going for 5... these are stunning WB, i have much love for still lifes! :) xx
ReplyDeleteLove these.... I think each is an excellent base for a painting, but the last one gets my vote.
ReplyDeletethe teddy bear with the rose? i like the composition of second one best. heeeeee
ReplyDeleteIt was number 6!

Hey there, Willie: My mind read the question differently - I figured you used both the SKETCH BOOK AND EASLE FOR 'your painting'.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking: Okay, Willie has to use a sketch book before he goes to paint. Willie has to use an easel WHILE he paints. So - I thought we were to guess what you USED, in the process of creating the FINAL ART PIECE!
Anyway, I loved them all - as I do each and every one on this page! Diane
