looks like u could get some milage out of that title. insert the words: take, listen, watch for read. always like ur simple approach to these. michael dailey
Don't you think that sometimes, it's the book that chooses us? :) I have books sitting in my «bibliothèque» which I haven't read, but will someday when the time is right (well, hopefully!)
I love your simple approach to the theme and your strong layout.:) Cheers!
"Eat" instead of read would be a fun twist. I just discovered popcorn jelly beans with my kids. Wow, why? when popcorn stands alone as it's own food group.
Good thoughts. Always love to see what you'll come up with. Check out this on Amazon when you get a moment... The Penguin Classics Library Complete Collection. You'd need about 20 years free to finish them so choose wisely!
Couldn't agree more! But you have to sift through a lot of crap before you find the really good ones, ya know? I really like this, the composition feels so nice to me...
You are a wise & very creative dude :)

ReplyDeleteOh yes. I leave books unfinished and walk out of movies. There are so many better ones.
ReplyDeleteGood Advice.
ReplyDeletethis should be the poster at the bookstores!
ReplyDeleteWhat does that say about me because I feel I read a lot of crap. Food for thought there.

ReplyDeleteAmen. But I like Stephen King, no matter what anyone says. He's not crap.
ReplyDeleteVery true, but you can still buy the book for it's cover!
ReplyDeleteStrong, confident line work as usual!
You are right, even if at certain times of life some garbage literature helped me escape from reality
ReplyDeletelife is too short to eat fewer than 31 flavors, chacho!
ReplyDeleteCool drawing, good point:). (Somehow, it is still easier to resist reading crap than watching it - thanks for stopping by my "devil and angel";)
ReplyDeleteAnd I forgot to mention that you have a very nice handwriting! :)
ReplyDeleteRight! That's why I love "Mafalda"
ReplyDeleteTake care!
Great pen work Willie and thanks for stopping by too.
ReplyDeleteReally interesting first visit....I'll be back because reading your blog isn't crappy! LOL
ReplyDeleteThat is a good slogan!
ReplyDeleteOh, this is a thorny problem: I get an impression about a book...only if I read it. :D
ReplyDeleteBut, your concept it's so bright, it's indisputable.
Great style, dynamic composition and typesetting, expressive drawing, indeed. Many compliments for the whole blog!
I agree! I like the perspective in this drawing and its to-the-point message.
