Just a few highlights. You can see a few more at my flickr page. :-) Yeeehawwwww!

  1. Great photos, though I hate State Fairs. They're like a theme park exclusively for Wal-Mart shoppers. Very depressing, though when I say this, I sound elitist, when in fact, I'm sleazier than most. When I lived in Dallas I went to the fair once with some art director friends. My only memory is when one guy threw up after a ride on some whirly-gig thing. Fun!! I deleted my extra non-blog. Thanks for the prompt. I'm lazy.

  3. I LOVE the state fair, because of why "bill ross" says he hates them! You were smart to bring your camera! There are so many interesting walks of people out there.
And I know this sounds mean, but since I went yesterday, I feel sort of pretty and better about myself today. :)

  4. Great photos! I missed it this year, darn. Although I only go to eat - corny dogs, funnel cakes, fried...everything!

  7. I have never been to the State Fair. We have several county fairs here and I always love the broiled corn and the pig races.
