a piece of sculpture I am afraid to make

  1. You should have no fear, unless the teeth are your own. Then you would look silly. But AWESOME sketch nonetheless!

  2. Do it! It all hinges on the spoon though. If you don't get the spoon just right...

Nothing like eating something that is trying to eat you back. :)

  5. oh, go ahead and make it, just don't use your own teeth... plastic human teeth maybe:) but that would take the edge of the entire concept, wouldn't it ? :)

Why? Because it might look so real that you try to eat it? And it might remind you of when you were little with a really loose tooth and when you were eating something you suddenly found you were chewing on your own tooth? That's what would scare me. But go ahead and make it anyway. xoxox vr

  8. Do it. Do it do it do it. It makes me think about Meret Oppenheim's fur-covered tea-cup and spoon:

I want to see teeth, lots of teeth, in that bowl. There is something very cool about combining the Old German Fairy Tale "ewwww" creepy factor of the teeth with the banal homey feeling of the TV tray American breakfast moment.
