Sunrise at Pungwe
I spent 4 glorious days at Pungwe bush camp in the Manyeleti game reserve. One morning we awoke to this misty sunrise. Moments later we were beginning a four hour walk through the bush and came upon a breeding herd of elephants, who were not very happy to see us. That is better than caffiene for getting one's heart rate going, trust me. :-)

Having never seen a Coonass before, the elephants trumpted the arrival of William Baronet !
ReplyDeleteHow amazing, is the whole country golden and silver? What a wonderful adventure. When I was a kid I used to Read Gerald Durrell, my favorite of his books was the Bafut Beagles. He wrote about the most fantastic adventures and animals. You actually get to be part of the adventure, how cool!
