Sunrise at Pungwe

I spent 4 glorious days at Pungwe bush camp in the Manyeleti game reserve. One morning we awoke to this misty sunrise. Moments later we were beginning a four hour walk through the bush and came upon a breeding herd of elephants, who were not very happy to see us. That is better than caffiene for getting one's heart rate going, trust me. :-)

  10. Wow! I wish I could have seen everything you did on this trip. This sunrise probably only represents 1 millionth of the amazing things you saw. Since I don't drink coffee I could probably use more angry elephants in the mornings.

  19. How amazing, is the whole country golden and silver? What a wonderful adventure. When I was a kid I used to Read Gerald Durrell, my favorite of his books was the Bafut Beagles. He wrote about the most fantastic adventures and animals. You actually get to be part of the adventure, how cool!
