I was lost in Africa once! Well, I was in Morocco for three weeks while in college and couldn't find a phone to call home. To this day, my parents' friends still ask me, "weren't you lost in Africa a few years ago?" (22 years ago!)
I can get lost in local suburbs; should keep compass in car.
