Santa Fe - 2005 For some reason this photo reminds me of the silver lining that is a part of every dark cloud. My wish for you is to be grateful today.
this photograph is beautiful! it was like i could trace my fingers across the window pane, and wipe the rain drops away.
there was a similiar photograph i was thinking of posting for silver. window to the streets, the black and white and rain. the blur. and i wonder why that simply means silver to us.
maybe it is the silver lining... it's a beautiful thought. and a beautiful wish you've granted.
thanks willie, like this lots, and it kind of reminds me of that calm feeling that hangs around a while just after a storm ends and the sun and crisp, calm air start working their way out. have a good weekend

I guess its because of the water droplets are silver and you look at the clouds in the background :) The same thought occurred to me on my first look at the photo.
BTW, I get a very relaxing feel looking at this photo!
u forgot that quick that I'm from san francisco...the poem i wrote was an off the brain exercise..and I just let whatever come to mind flow...I guess with all the talk in the news about Loisiana it got to me...but I'm pretty sure somewhere in my lineage one of my great great grandparents is from Loisiana still have yet to do that research...
oooh! i like this alot, i was taking photos in the rain today myself! ;)

ReplyDeleteThe picture is stunning, and the wish is lovely and so spot on. We should be grateful every day for what we have.

ReplyDeleteI like Angela's comments.
ReplyDeleteI love to go out in the spring right after the rain. The green is so green, and the sun so bright... reminds me of the rainbow promise to Noah.
Rrramone... thank you... and if my memories were not as wonderful, my tears would not be as big. I remember with gratitude.
a freakishly good photo, the kind of thing everyone only gets to capture a handful of times in your life...
