Illustration Friday - Sprout

In a bizarre breakthrough experiment pens began sprouting from my cup.

  2. Be careful...the cross breeding between writing utensils and scissors can cause some very strange offspring:>

    Love the contrast of the detailed pens, pencils, and scissors in the very spare mug.

  14. Your keenly-observed sketch also gives me a chance to reflect on:
    Is the cup half-empty (below the line), half-full (above the line) or half-fast (shadows and/or motion lines under the handle)?

    All my pens disappear; I think my mugs must eat them.

    However, pens have been known to sprout under my daughter's bed and an armchair in the living room sprouts them under the cushion.

    A mug would be a far more convenient.

  27. Man, if only this would happen when my "almost out of ink" pens were close to running out. They could just regenerate themselves....and the scissors, they would resharpen. Oh, if imagination worked that way....
