I'm curious about the difference between these older drawings and your newer broken-open stuff. The older are very beautiful...the newer get people right in the gut. How'd you get there?
What a cool drawing! I feel like i am peeking through these columns...it's like a miniature vacation:> Thanks for the link; I've added you to my blogroll as well:>
willie. there can only be one cheap tart in the world! if she says she has read that book...well, who knows. nice drawings. am off to see the homeless work.
I love this. Reminds me of one of the early Star Trek episodes in which Kirk and other crew members went through a time portal through which you could see the past happening.
I am looking through your other entries. I love all of them, but I had to comment on this one. I like how the focus of the drawing is centered between the two columns. It's a nice view. Great work! =)
how beautiful negative space
ReplyDeleteYes! More views squished by columns!

ReplyDeleteI love the spontaneity of your sketches. This one really caught my eye; wonderful composition!
