great illo! I saw 'pink' the other day and forgot to comment so here it is: Love it! so sweet yet so sad. I love that you can take a simple word and make such an interesting piece out of it. Hope you don't mind, I might give it a try.
Ur absolutely right! I think I've watched too much TV...and now I can't get the Gilligan's Island theme off my head, aaaaaaarggggg!!!! Pure talent dude, I love your work!
p.s. I added you to the Pigpile on the Spinning Bed (daily reads & faves). I hope that's not too forward. I'm not taking my top off for you, so stop asking.
Crying is best done in pink chenille with small feline nearby to gaze up in wonder... the only way to boo hoo, natch! ; ) Then consume chocolate ice cream, provide snack for feline & play tear-jerker movie--last tears to roll 4 sure! (Get short movie... Titanic type too long... U may forget what you were cry'in bout!)
Smooch, The Tart
BTW... feet are very toe-ish, well done... bring your feet by my place, little goddess needs new boyfriend. Ex is part of island landscape now. ; (
Hah! And here I thought, at first glance, that you were flashing us! Looks kind of like Malcom McDowell in _A Clockwork Orange_.
I love your "Pink". The buried pen is hilarious. I have five of the same pen, my favorites. The manufacturer doesn't make them anymore, so I don't let anyone touch my 5 pens. My boyfriend always wants to use them to make grocery lists. (Och! My heart.) I don't like to think about the time when my favorite pens run out. I feel your pain, Willie. Be strong.
great illo!

so it is not your feet. Mmm? makes me wonder if there are other things yours and not!
ReplyDeleteThis is excellent, makes me think of Magritte's "Ceci n'est pas une pipe" or "This is not a pipe". I like your take on the topic, very original.
ReplyDeleteI love your drawings, really nice lines.
ReplyDeleteI love your drawings too. Yet they're simple, they show so much emotions - especially this one. It's not you - and it's not your feet! Who is it???

ReplyDeleteIt is an old part of me. The part that let fear run my life. So it's me, but it's not me. :-)
