Am I ready?

"Do not pray for easy lives. Pray to be stronger men. Do not pray for tasks equal to your powers. Pray for powers equal to your tasks. Then the doing of your work shall be no miracle, but you shall be the miracle."

-- Phillips Brooks, 1835–1893

  3. What a great quote!
It's hard, but do like the car in your drawing and turn the corner, go around the bend, get over the hump. You don't have to stop being afraid, just don't let that fear control you.

  12. Amen to that quote, Willie!!

I try every day not to be afraid, to get out there and be accepting of all that life has to dish up for me.

In the end, the fear itself of bad things or pain or rejection is much more paralyzing than the actual happenings themselves...
