It goes on and on and on...

"Our main business is not to see what
lies dimly at a distance,
but to do what lies clearly at hand."

  3. love it, but actually, the list keeps me sane. otherwise I wake up in the middle of the night thinking, "oh, I better remember to do..."

  4. i shouldn't admit it, but i like my lists. i write them on an 8 by 11 envelope and target the things i care about most even those i won't get to them any time soon.

what i don't like is the weight of chores, papers and details. if i could eliminate vacuum cleaners and insurance policies from my life, i would!

you say alot with alittle. always meaningful.

I could replace the word list with a few other words today. But I do like yours.

  12. What? Are you flippin' Santa Claus now? I know you've got the beard and that smug jolly look on your face like you just ripped a fart...but I got news for you. You're about 300 pounds too small to fill the fatman's boots. Hey, you could always take over for the Tooth Fairy! You've already got the dress. ;)

PS: You didn't waste any time doing the "opposite" of "clean," did you?

  14. I have a theory that Thomas Carlyle was near sighted. Well, I'm far sighted, so I'm going to take huge poetic liberties:

"Our main business is not to see what
lies dimly at a at hand,
but to do what lies clearly at a distance."

There, now I can see it better. This is like one of those 3d pictures that pop out if you focus a little ahead of it (this technique works great for life in general, I find)
OMG I see it! This is a great f***ing list Willie!!!

(Love the K and the I!)

Geez, you sure are smart. Okay I'm done. Bye for now :)
