When we don't take care of ourselves, we risk our health, and ultimately our lives. The ultimate sacrifice. And to take care of ourselves we may have to sacrifice short term pleasures, and focus on our larger purpose.
Sometimes, that ain't fun.
Have a glorious day!

ReplyDeleteOooh, a different approach with the collage~ I like it! I also like your message....the key is balance, don't you think? Cliche, but True, nonetheless. Also...have been meaning to ask you....where does "Rrrrrramone" come from? It always makes me think of "Rrrrrramone" from "Romy and Michele's High School Reunion."
ReplyDeleteYou always achieve so much with so little! I had to take a dbl take with this image! Great illo!

A very powerful message. I think I'll print it & paste it where it will remind me.
ReplyDeleteI'm late making the rounds this week! This is a departure from your suual pen drawings, and i like it! You have certainly nailed the idea of "sacrificing" the short terms indulgences for the long term health. Good job! And, to echo Amy's question...where does "Rrrrrramone" come from?
ReplyDeleteNice work and fitting for the subject. This is one of my favorites for this week's topic.
ReplyDeletePowerful message!! Great take on this week's theme!
ReplyDeleteAgree with the last speaker,..very powerful and well captured. Good job Willie!
